Project Facilitator

for fencing and remodel work

Working hours: Fulltime, Mon. - Fri. 8-5

Overview

We are specifically looking for someone with a construction background to sell ASC SoundFence and soundproofing products to our customers.

The successful candidate for this position will be a person who knows construction, has worked in construction and knows the field. However, as Project Facilitator, you will not be involved in any hands on work in the field, since our clients come from all over the country. No travel or on-site work required. Customers typically call as well as email photos and plans for their project. You consult with them to figure out the look, performance, budget and timeline factors that need to be met in the project. We manufacture all the parts needed, then we ship it complete with install instructions.

Your job is to help the customer, offer suggestions based on their budget, and generally feel out the best way to help them. Engineers design the space and you present it, deal with adjustments, get engineering approval on adjustments and close the sale. Then you manage the order through production, shipping and installation. This is not a physical job, no actual construction on your part, but knowledge of the industry is required.

In due time, you will be able to work up most proposals without assistance from engineering. This is a full time position. Located in West Eugene.

Abilities Required

General contractor experience
Contact management experience
Technically oriented, able to produce drawings
Naturally organized, multitasking
Handle many projects at one time
Excellent phone voice, enunciation and manners

At least some college education, engineering background
Residential construction work and/or blueprint reading
Self motivated, with endurance and follow through
Phone sales and/or tech support
Computer savvy
Good written and verbal skills
Sales experience
